Scottish Dance practice

There will be three practices in the weeks before the Burns’ Supper to allow participants to brush up their Scottish dancing. These will be held at 7.00 pm at the Hilton Hanoi Opera Hotel on 10 and 17 December and a final practice in January to be confirmed.

Burns Supper 2009

In celebration of the 250th anniversary of Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns, the annual Hanoi Burns Supper will be held in the Melia Hotel on Saturday 17 January 2009.

The evening will be hosted by the Indo China Uisgebeatha Club (ICUC), sometimes called the Whisky Club, and will feature all the trimmings of a genuine Burns Supper: traditional Scottish fare including a taste of haggis, free flow of wine and soft drinks and a bottle of the best malt whisky per table.
The programme also includes the traditional toasts and addresses, not forgetting a fling of Scottish dancing and singing.
Tickets are available for $90 per person
Discount given for tables of 10 - $850 per table if booked and paid before 7 January 2009.
